塞内加尔(The Republic of Senegal)

塞内加尔共和国（The Republic of Senegal），简称塞内加尔，位于非洲西部凸出部位的最西端，首都达喀尔。北接毛里塔尼亚，东邻马里，南接几内亚和几内亚比绍，西临佛得角群岛。海岸线长约700公里。

国旗

塞内加尔国旗启用于1960年8月20日，国旗呈长方形，长与宽之比为3:2。旗面由三个平行相等的竖长方形构成，从左至右依次为绿、黄、红三色，黄色长方形中间有一个绿色五角星。绿色象征国家的农业、植物和森林，黄色象征丰富的自然资源，红色象征为争取独立自由而斗争的烈士的鲜血；绿、黄、红色也是传统的泛非颜色。绿色五角星象征非洲的自由。

国徽

塞内加尔国徽分左右两部分，左边为红地，绘有一只体现力量和国家尊严的金狮；右边的黄地上绘有一棵塞内加尔国树面包树，它的枝叶茂密而伸展，果实养育了当地人民。树下的绿色被纹带里，流淌着塞内加尔河水。盾徽周围环绕着棕榈枝叶，它象征国家的经济作物。一条白色饰带与枝叶缠绕，诉说着塞内加尔人民的心愿：“一个民族、一个目标、一种信仰”。

对外贸易

主要出口渔业产品、水泥、磷酸盐、花生和棉花等，进口粮食、机电和日常消费品等。

2016年，塞主要向以下国家出口：马里20.1%，瑞士11.7%，印度9.1%，科特迪瓦5.9%，中国5%；主要从以下国家进口：法国17.3%，中国11.2%，尼日利亚8.4%，印度8.3%，西班牙4.9%。近年进出口情况如下（单位：百万美元）

习俗

塞内加尔人热情好客，喜欢舞蹈。当地人讲究礼仪，着装整齐，忌袒胸露背。男子喜欢穿一种称作“布布”的白色面部袍子，女子则喜欢穿颜色鲜艳的长裙。

伊斯兰教对塞内加尔人的生活影响很大，大多数教徒忌吃猪肉及饮酒。每年年底或年初“宰牲节”是穆斯林最重要的节日。

The Republic of Senegal, referred to as Senegal for short, it is in the westernmost end of the protruding part of West Africa, the capital is DAKAR. National flag

Senegal's flag was opened on August 20, 1960. The flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. There is a green pentagonal star in the middle of the Yellow rectangle. Green symbolizes the country's agriculture, plants and forests, yellow symbolizes rich natural resources, red symbolizes the blood of martyrs fighting for independence and freedom, and green, yellow and red are also traditional pan-African colors. The green Pentagon symbolizes Africa's freedom.

National Emblem

Senegal's national emblem is divided into two parts, the left side is red ground, with a painting showing strength and national respect.

Yan Golden Lion; on the yellow ground on the right is a bread tree of Senegal, with thick and spreading branches and fruits that nourish the local people. The Senegal River runs in the green stripes under the trees. The shield emblem is surrounded by palm branches and leaves, which symbolize the country's cash crops. A white ribbon intertwined with branches and leaves tells the wishes of the Senegalese people: "a nation, a goal, a belief".

Foreign trade

It mainly exports fishery products, cement, phosphate, peanuts and cotton, and imports grain, machinery and electrical equipment and daily consumer goods.

Custom

Senegalese are hospitable and like dancing. Local people pay attention to etiquette, dress neatly and avoid showing their breasts and backs. Men like to wear a white facial gown called cloth, while women like to wear long skirts with bright colors.

Islam has a great influence on Senegalese life, and most of them avoid eating pork and drinking alcohol. Eid al-Adha is the most important festival for Muslims at the end or beginning of each year.
